Maca (fruit)

Maca is a root vegetable that originated in Peru and has been used as a traditional medicine. It has been studied to a limited degree with potentially good results for a number of conditions from prostate enlargement to lowering blood pressure but the only indication that has achieved widespread use is for the enhancement of libido. It also appears to increase fertility.
